Usage Guidelines

Terms of Use

These terms define how you may use our website and services. By accessing our site, you agree to comply with the conditions outlined below.

Scope of Services

Scyxvakax provides personal shopping, wardrobe consultancy, and styling guidance. Recommendations are curated with care, but the final choice to purchase or wear an item rests with you. We reserve the right to decline or modify services if your request falls outside our professional remit or conflicts with our policies.

Eligibility & Booking

You must be at least 18 years old to engage our services. Appointments are confirmed once any required deposits or agreements are in place. Scheduling requests are handled on a first-come basis, and availability is not guaranteed until written confirmation is provided.

Fees, Deposits & Cancellations

Service fees, deposits, and payment schedules are outlined during consultation. Unless specified otherwise, deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date with at least 48 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur the full service fee to cover preparation time and reserved slots.

Client Responsibilities

You agree to supply accurate measurements, preferences, and timelines so we can deliver personalised results. Prompt feedback enables us to meet deadlines; delays or incomplete information can affect outcomes. You are responsible for purchasing, returning, or exchanging products sourced from third-party retailers.

Intellectual Property

The website design, written content, imagery, lookbooks, styling frameworks, and downloadable resources are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may view, download, or print materials for personal use only. Any republication, distribution, or commercial use requires prior written permission.

Acceptable Use of the Website

You agree not to misuse the site by introducing malicious code, attempting unauthorised access, scraping content, or interfering with service performance. We may suspend access or pursue legal remedies if the website is used in a manner that could damage our systems or reputation.

Third-Party Links & Resources

Our site may include links to partner retailers, inspiration boards, or external articles. These resources are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of third-party websites, and access is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

We strive to provide accurate information and thoughtful guidance, but we cannot guarantee product availability, sizing outcomes, or retailer policies. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages that arise from using our services or website.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If a provision of these terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect service refinements, legal requirements, or operational needs. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect signifies acceptance of the updated terms.

Payment Methods

We accept bank transfers, major credit cards, and invoiced payments for corporate accounts. Additional payment methods may be offered on a case-by-case basis. All amounts are quoted in GBP unless stated otherwise, and you are responsible for international transfer fees or exchange rate variations.

Availability of Products

Curated product selections are subject to availability from the originating retailer. We will notify you if an item sells out or is delayed and will provide alternatives when possible. We cannot guarantee that preferred items will remain in stock at the time of purchase.

Tailoring and Alterations

Where tailoring is recommended, we will provide referrals to trusted partners. Any alteration contract is formed between you and the tailor, and you are responsible for associated costs, terms, and turnaround times.

Confidentiality

We treat styling briefs, measurements, and wardrobe information as confidential. We will not disclose details of your sessions without consent, except where disclosure is required by law.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures to deliver services caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruptions, supplier strikes, or public health restrictions. If an event of force majeure occurs, we will contact you to rearrange or suspend services.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will remain in full force. The invalid provision will be replaced with a valid alternative that best reflects the original intent.
